At the precise time of ‘November’ month another interested team of educated and well off personalities in the society – SLN Swamy, Master Hirannaiah, Dr Shashidhar, TS Nagabharana, V Nagendra Prasad, V Manohar, Yathiraj, Hemesh, Sanjay, Jayaprakash Nagathihalli, Rameshcandra, Asgar pasha, Shivakumar, Sudhir Yaraghatta, Pavagada Prakash and others have decided to pull the ‘Kannada Chitra Theru’ from November 20 for a period of 31days.

The main ideology of this Kannada Chitra Theru is not just giving entertainment but also educating on the need of Kannada.

Coinciding with the 80 years of Kannada cinema ‘KCT’ has selected 15 colleges, 17 extensions, 13 factories, 15 Malls, 10 IT BT companies and other areas where Kannada is not spoken would be visited. 80 places and 80 new singers move in ‘Kannada Chitra Theru’ – there will be questionnaires, awareness programs, useful information etc.

Rs.2 crores is the need for conducting this 31 days ‘Kannada Chitra Theru’ – There are schemes like 100 ‘Athiratha’ who pay Rs.50,001 that will be used for various programs. One rupee from one Kannada is accepted. The deposit of this could be made to Tele Creations bank account.

All the existing Kannada Sanghas have been consulted on this ‘Kannada Chitra Theru’ and the program to increase the Kannada speaking population will be unique in its own way says SLN Swamy.
